About the event
Power House at Sundance 2026 is an intimate convening for filmmakers, artists, funders, policy leaders, and community organizers who believe storytelling is essential to the future of American democracy. Hosted by PowerLines, a national nonprofit with a mission to lower utility bills, Power House will serve as the public launch of the Georgia Public Service Commission (PSC) documentary film project and a broader storytelling effort focused on democracy, affordability, and energy.
Through curated screenings, salons, and off-the-record conversations, Power House will connect creative voices with the people rebuilding democratic institutions on the ground—surfacing real stories, forging unlikely alliances, and exploring how media can help move the country forward around the issues that unite us.
